January 17th Day Book Entry

FOR TODAY

Outside my window... it is gray and foggy with a light breeze blowing.  Can't believe some areas may get snow tonight after we've had 70 degree days this week.

I am thinking...  today would be a great day to bake cookies.

I am thankful...  for my husband, who goes to work out in the world so that I can be home with our daughter.

In the kitchen...  fish cakes and pasta for supper.  Some sort of veggie, too.

I am wearing...  sweat clothes.  It is damp and chilly feeling today.

I am creating...  a sweater (still working on a crocheted one) and a granny table cloth.

I am going...  to town tomorrow.  Doctor's appointment, some grocery shopping, and supper at son/daughter in law's house.

I am wondering...  what to pack with the turkey burgers we'll be taking for lunch tomorrow.

I am reading...  The Man Without a Country

I am hoping...  we at least see a snow flurry.

I am looking forward to...  supper at Mama's house this weekend.  Everyone will be there!

I am learning...  biology all over again and I don't like it anymore the third time..lol

Around the house...  chores are finished, critters are sleeping, and daughter is working on an Algebra II test.

I am pondering... how to best utilize our funds to achieve our goals this year.

A favorite quote for today...  "Gun control isn't about guns.  It's about control."

One of my favorite things...  seeing my hubby's face light up when I brought him breakfast in bed this morning.

A few plans for the rest of the week:  trip to town tomorrow, all children home on Saturday and family supper at Mama's on Sunday.

A peek into my day...

This is where I'd really like to be -- with a good book and hot chocolate.

    1. Thanks Lili. Sometimes I feel like it the world read this blog they'd think all I ever did was cook and crochet...lol. While those are two of my favorite things to do, they aren't all I do....they just sometimes feel like all I talk about.

  3. Hi, Shara~
Just stopped by from Peggy's Daybook. Your kitty is so cute. I have one very similar, most likely equally spoiled, and I want some snow too! :-)
