soup bowl (leftover green beans and green peas from fridge)
2 cans of diced tomatoes (pantry)
water and chicken bouillon
black pepper
dried onion (long term storage)
dried bell pepper (long term storage)
dried corn (from bits basket)
1 can black beans (pantry)
two large handfuls of mini meatballs
garlic powder
dried broccoli (from bits basket)
I'll be serving the soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. Nothing fancy, but a warm filling meal.
Looks delicious, Shara. I like elbow macaroni in soup. And I like meatballs in it too. I found a good deal on Hamburger this week and I was thinking about making a meatball stew soon. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in elementary school they always served veggie soup with macaroni noodles. I loved it and for some reason it seemed just right for a cold, snowy day.
DeleteSounds good. Soup is probably on the menu for many as this Artic blast is hitting the US!
ReplyDeleteI know you guys are used to the cold, but snow and ice is a rare thing for my area. My poor outside kitties were standing there looking up at the sky like "what in the world"...lol. We made them a warm secure place and pointed them in that direction. They seemed to get the hint and didn't come back out until this morning.
DeleteI'm ready for lunch and the soup looks delicious. Wish I had some.
ReplyDeleteIf you were closer I'd be glad to heat you up a bowl. :-)
